Drew RhodesGeneral Manager

Drew Rhodes joined the WLTZ NBC 38 family and SagamoreHIll Broadcasting, LLC in May 2007. He is the General Manager for WLTZ-TV, WLTZ-DT, and wltz.com.

Prior to joining WLTZ-TV, Mr. Rhodes worked at KSN-TV in Wichita, KS where he successfully directed the sales efforts for a group of stations known as The Kansas State Network.

After graduating from The University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina, Drew began his career in broadcasting in 1991, working as a promotion assistant for WBTW-TV, a Spartan Communications, Inc. station, in the Florence/Myrtle Beach market of South Carolina. 

The next stop for Drew came in 1993 when he moved to New Bern, NC to work for the ABC affiliate, WCTI-TV, a Diversified Communications, Inc station. He worked as promotion director for the station and loved the time he spent in North Carolina. From there he went to Wichita, Kansas in 1995 for the first time to work as promotion director for The Kansas Broadcasting System which included CBS affiliates KWCH-TV, KBSH-TV, KBSD-TV and KBSL-TV and back to work for Spartan Communications, Inc. In 1996, the Kansas Association of Broadcaster's awarded the group their station of the year award.

While in Kansas Drew changed career paths and went into the world of sales. From Wichita the next stop was back to North Carolina to work for WNCT-TV and Media General, Inc. where he served as national sales manager and later, local sales manager. He was promoted to general sales manager at WSAV-TV in Savannah, Georgia. From there he was called by Emmis Corp. to go to KSN-TV.

Drew has already become involved with several organizations in the Columbus area including Rotary and The Advertising Federation of Columbus, Georgia.

Drew enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. He likes playing golf, being involved with his church, and traveling around the country to see friends and family as much as possible.
